Kate Woods takes over the back gallery showing five new works, also fresh from a public gallery exhibition at NorthArt in Auckland where they were shown as part of the recent Auckland Festival of Photography. In these works, Woods continues her disruption of photography\'s representation of the real. Her superimpositions on found photographs, or in this case her own photographs of a nature walk near her home, continue to create portals to alternative ways of reading and viewing images, confounding conventional expectations or what we might expect a photograph to deliver.
