Catherine Clayton-SmithCatherine Clayton-Smith investigates the way in which observation and memory interact, creating a new kind of representation mirroring the way images are experienced and interpreted simultaneously through the digital and the real.
Originally from Christchurch, Catherine completed a BFA in Painting at the National Art School in Sydney in 2014. She has won several awards and prizes and is currently a finalist in the Sulman Prize exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Over the past three years, she has exhibited regularly and had work acquired for public and private collections. |
